Gonzaga star Prentiss Hubb narrows options to Maryland, Virginia, four other top programs

Prentiss Hubb, one of the top junior guards in the D.C. area and the entire country, has whittled his college decision down to six top-flight Division I programs.

As seen in the tweet above, Hubb said he is now choosing between Maryland, Virginia, Kansas, Villanova, Notre Dame and Syracuse. The 6-foot-3 lefty, who averaged 13.9 points per game for Gonzaga this past season, is a four-star recruit and ranked 60th in ESPN’s Class of 2018 rankings. He also had offers from Georgetown, Baylor, Xavier and Marquette, among many other power-five programs, before cutting down his official list Sunday. He will play AAU basketball for D.C. Premier this spring and summer.
